We’re proud to announce that José Neves has reached an agreement with Grifal Group, based in Italy, for the production in Portugal of the innovative corrugated board cArtù® through the joint venture Seven cArtù Lda. The new manufacturing unit will be operational during 2023 in Guimarães, next to the current facilities of the José Neves group.

This alliance reinforces the positioning of the José Neves Group in the market and will allow it to expand the volume of opportunities, conquer new markets and increase market share, in accordance with the outlined growth strategy. “We could have continued to grow organically based on our solid reputation and large customer base in the Portuguese and international markets, said José Neves, founder and CEO of the Portuguese group. Instead, we chose to introduce the virtuous cArtù® innovation to our market because we believe it is a winner, 100 percent in line with the growing demand for greener products to replace expanded plastics.”
